You begin by what demographics of people you are trying to reach out towards. For instance, if you are trying to appeal more with younger group of audience you want to use Instagram for your social media account and if you are trying to attract an older audience you should use Facebook. Statistics state that 56 percent of Internet users ages 65 and older use Facebook. With business marketing, you want to utilize LindkedIn because this is a more professional and sophisticated account. Overall, it seems that Facebook is the best tool to market to all demographics because it is the most widely used.
She also informed us about the importance of images in your media messages. People are more likely to look at images over text so it is crucial to have an engaging image to attract your audience. You always want your content to be clear and concise so it is not overwhelming to the viewer. Your content should be relevant to what you are trying to promote to the audience.
Ceci gave our class assistance on what to do if there are negative comments directed towards your company or product you are trying to promote. You do not want to battle with your customers over negative comments because that is going to give you and your company a degrading reputation. Instead, you should reach out to those individually just one on one. It is important to have ideal communication with your customers if they are not satisfied.
